NATED (the National Association for Tertiary Education for Deaf people) is forming a new sub group for Scotland, open to all with an interest in improving the quality and range of provision for deaf students in Scotland.

The National Association for Tertiary Education for Deaf people was founded in 1976. It is an active organisation made up of tutors of deaf students, Communication Support Workers and deaf students. Other professionals with an interest in improving access to further and higher education for deaf students are also welcome to join. The term “deaf students” includes students who use Sign Language, who are hard of hearing, deafened or deafblind.
